Inox stainless damascus

I have been working with Damascus a short time. Damaworks has a variety of blade steels, they ship quickly and answer all my questions, especially about heat treating.

Great metallurgy

First billet from Damasteel, great to grind, has a unique feel after heat treat temper! Cryo in liquid nitrogen..Then temper again!!

Very impressed

First time ordering and im glad i did. This steel is great. Patterns are incredibly crisp and precise. Billets came fully anealed and easy to work. Hardened with zero warping even with one of the knives being very thin (2mm). They took a super clean etch with great contrast. I will definitely be using damaworks steel more in the future.

Awesome damascus

This stuff is fantastic. It comes annealed and is very easy to cut, grind, and drill pre-heat treat. It hardened reliably with the heat treat info provided, and came out straight as an arrow. The pattern is fantastic, and the contrast in the layers is excellent as well. All around an easy choice for quality Damascus.

Great steel from great people

The steel is great quality but what sets it apart is the customer service these guys provide. A company that has a good product and does the right thing without even being asked just as a way of doing business deserves to be patronized!

My mind is blown!

Absolutely some of my favorite Damascus Not only is it made from a tank barrel, but the pattern is incredible. The diamond shapes seem to jump off the blade!

This is a solid billet with a beautiful pattern… This steel heat treats easily without warpage, and etch’s exquisitely.
