You or Customer refers to the individual or entity placing an order or accessing our website. Products refer to Damascus steel billets and related materials sold through our website.
Damaworks LLC sells Damascus steel billets as raw materials for metalworking intended for use by qualified knifemakers, bladesmiths, blacksmiths, jewelers, and other skilled craftspeople. Our products are sold unfinished and require professional knowledge, equipment, and skill to work safely. By purchasing from Damaworks LLC you represent that you are a skilled adult who understands the properties, risks, and proper handling of Damascus steel. Damaworks LLC assumes no responsibility for the finished products you create using our materials. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the manufacture, possession, and sale of items made from our materials.
All orders are subject to availability. Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. Damaworks LLC reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you before processing your order.
Damaworks LLC ships from Ashland, Oregon. Orders placed before our daily cutoff time ship the same business day. Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by Damaworks LLC. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Damaworks LLC is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.
Damaworks LLC offers a 30-day return policy for all Damascus steel billets, valid for 30 days from receipt, regardless of condition. Billets may be returned cut, etched, or otherwise processed — the entire billet must be returned, even if it is in pieces. To initiate a return, contact us at info@damaworks.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Upon receiving your return, the resolution is your choice: a full refund to your original payment method, store credit, or a replacement billet shipped at our cost. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the return, though we often process them the same day. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Made a wrong selection? Contact us at info@damaworks.com with your exchange request, and we will ship your replacement as soon as we receive your return. If there is a price difference, we will send you a payment request for the amount owed. Shipping on the exchanged product is on us.
Technical data provided on our website — including steel compositions, layer counts, hardness values, and heat treatment specifications — is sourced from BALBACHDAMAST® GmbH and is provided for reference only. No legal claim is made, and no liability is accepted for variations in material performance resulting from the customer's forging, heat treatment, or finishing processes. Damascus steel is a composite material and results will vary based on your equipment, technique, and process. We strongly recommend following BALBACHDAMAST®'s published heat treatment specifications for each steel type.
