DSC® carbon Damascus Steel Billets (Cut-To-Size)
DSC® Carbon Damascus Steel – Cut-to-Size Billets
The benchmark for carbon Damascus steel for knife making in North America. DSC® — Damascus Steel SuperClean — is a registered trademark of BALBACHDAMAST® at the German Patent and Trademark Office, and it means exactly what it says: this is not standard Damascus. The SuperClean weld-bonding process eliminates contaminants and seam impurities at the layer boundaries, producing a ferritic-martensitic compound that behaves predictably under heat treatment and holds its geometry through machining.
Forged in Laubuseschbach, Germany, in a 3,200 square meter production facility that has been producing Damascus steel since 1991. Stocked in Ashland, Oregon. Ships same day.

This is one of the only brands I use for my Damascus billets… billets are clean and flat from the start. MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!
The cleanest most consistently high quality damascus on the market
Super clean product. Well-engineered and handsome finish. Customer service was above and beyond expectation.
Absolutely my go to company for quality products at incredible prices.
Forged a chef's knife from a carbon billet. Drew out clean at 1800°F, zero layer movement. Hardened from 1544°F in Parks 50, tempered 2×1hr at 356°F, and hit 62 HRC with no warp. Would certainly recommend, especially at the price!
